Channa masala is a spicy Indian dish cooked with chickpeas, tomatoes, onions and different spices. It can be eaten with roti, naan, chapati or rice. It is very popularly known as cholay or chole in Indian households and is a very commonly made dish. It is one of the Indian dishes that can be had for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Chickpeas is high in folate, fiber, iron and vitamin B. It also helps to improve digestion, maintain weight and protects you against colorectal cancer. It is a good alternative to meat food items and has enough proteins and nutrients in it. This masala is packed with herbs like zira, ginger, red chilli pepper etc that give you added benefits and also adds flavor to your chana masala dish.

Active Ingredients :

Indian mango (Mangifera indica): Indian mango is a commonly used dish to prepare chutneys, jams, pickles etc. It is a common ingredient used in masalas as it gives it a sour taste. It also has medicinal properties. It reduces blood sugar levels, treats respiratory disorders like asthma, cold, coughs and even diabetes. It also has diuretic and aphrodisiac properties.
